SCTE Summer Lecture is on target

The SCTE’s Summer Lecture this year will be held at (Stratton Court Barn) in Bicester, UK on 8 July 2015. It will also be the venue for the announcement of the winners/runners-up of SCTE’s 2015 Technology Innovation Awards. The shortlist for these awards can be found at

Following a morning of lecture presentations and a complimentary 2-course lunch (kindly sponsored by Corning Optical Communications), the fun begins in the afternoon with a cable quiz and then the highlight of the day... the outdoor activities - which this year includes laser clay shooting and archery.

“Our Summer lecture events usually incorporate a mix of presentations in the morning and exciting activities in the afternoon,” commented SCTE National Secretary, Bev Walker. “This year, we will be offering members the opportunity to listen to the lectures, enjoy lunch with the awards presentations and then take part in a cable quiz, archery and laser clay shooting in the afternoon….”
