The SCTE celebrates its 80th anniversary in style!

The great and the good came together to celebrate the SCTE 80^th Anniversary with a glorious sell-out event at the amazing HM Tower of London on Saturday 21^st June 2025.

Starting off with an incredible (and gory) history lesson by the Yeomen of the Guard, the guests were then treated to a private viewing of amazing ceramic poppies - nearly marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and specifically VE Day - and the stunning Crown Jewels (no photos allowed but they were truly awe inspiring).

Comedy royal footmen greeted guests at the White Tower – home to the Royal Armoury - for a champagne reception and then onto the New Armouries for a sumptuous gala dinner entertained by some very strange, but extremely talented, singing waiters - they were absolutely hilarious!

Huge congratulations to all our 2025 SCTE Award Winners, who were presented with their gongs on the night by the President of the SCTE, Dr Anthony Basham:-
